This segment offers viewers an inside look at The Rome Experience program which has formed over 360 seminarians since its founding in 2009. Part of the mission of Midwest Theological Forum to support the formation of clergy, The Rome Experience offers seminarians a unique opportunity to discover the heart of the Church through prayer, academic studies, and fraternity.
In this video, viewers follow along for a “day in the life” of a seminarian on The Rome Experience, accompanying them for their daily prayer, an academic course with Dr. Elizabeth Lev, and a visit to the Apostolic Penitentiary with Tribunal Official and MTF author Msgr. Carlos Encina Commentz. Plus, seminarians share their personal highlights from the program and how the formation received is shaping their future priestly ministry.
Seminarian Scholarship Fund
On The Rome Experience, seminarians deepen their habits of mental prayer, construct a spiritual plan of life, and delve into the lives of the saints and the history of the Church in Rome.
Through The Rome Experience Scholarship Fund, we aim to make this program possible for seminarians from any diocese in the United States who desire this formation experience.
