St. Josemaria Institute's 20th Anniversary

This month marks 20 years since the St. Josemaria Institute was founded on February 14, 2006—a remarkable milestone that demonstrates increasing devotion to St. Josemaria and to his teachings around the country!

When Midwest Theological Forum founded the St. Josemaria Institute, the mission was simple: to spread devotion to St. Josemaria Escriva within the United States and bring people closer to God. Since then, the resources produced by the St. Josemaria Institute promoting the life, teachings, and spirituality of St. Josemaria Escriva have impacted millions of individuals around the world.

For two decades, the St. Josemaria Institute has inspired others to:

  • Live the liturgical seasons and feast days with the spirituality of St. Josemaria;
  • Celebrate the feast day of St. Josemaria annually on June 26;
  • Deepen their prayer and conversations with God through the St. Josemaria Institute Podcast;
  • Strengthen their spiritual life through annual novenas and devotions.

I Took You in My Arms

The author, Fr. Andrea Mardegan, draws upon the rich spiritual writings of St. Josemaria Escriva to illustrate how divine filiation, which is the center of the spiritual life and the source of Christian joy, consists of an intimate relationship between each member of the faithful and God the Father through Jesus Christ. In these mediations, the reader is drawn in the contemplation that God is always with him or her, watching over his children with infinite love and mercy.
