Michael E. Giesler

Rev. Michael E. Giesler obtained his Doctorate in Theology from the University of Navarre (Spain). He is the author of a book and several articles on Sacred Scripture and the natural law, along with a series of audio tapes on the marks of the Church and the writings of Pope John Paul II. He has also recently published three books of historical fiction on the lives of the early Christians. He is also a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars. Fr. Giesler is a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei; he was raised in Chicago, and since 1989 has been stationed at the Wespine Study Center in Saint Louis. For over thirty years he has given retreats for diocesan priests and the lay faithful, along with individual spiritual direction.
