Description
S. Josemaría Escrivá creía que “quien es llamado al estado matrimonial encuentra en ese estado —con la gracia de Dios— todo lo necesario para ser santo, para identificarse cada día más con Jesucristo, y para llevar hacia el Señor a las personas con las que convive”.
La Novena para ser felices y fieles en el matrimonio está inspirada por el deseo de S. Josemaría de ayudar a todos los casados, así como a quienes se preparan para el matrimonio, a encontrar sentido y estímulos para su vocación mediante el compromiso de la oración diaria y la amistad con Dios, especialmente cuando se enfrenten a los inevitables momentos de sufrimiento y dificultad.
Todas las reflexiones de la novena están tomadas de la homilía “El matrimonio, vocación cristiana” de S. Josemaría Escrivá, publicada en 1973 en el libro Es Cristo que pasa.
