Introduction to Catholicism for Adults presents a comprehensive overview of the Catholic faith, based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture, The Decalogue, Fathers of the Church and lives of the Saints, and the teachings of Magisterial documents.
Ideal for OCIA, adult study classes, and those looking to deepen their knowledge of the Four Pillars of the Catholic faith – The Creed, the Sacraments, Christian morality, and Christian prayer.
As Saint John Paul II wrote in Fidei Depositum, “A catechism should faithfully and systematically present the teaching of Sacred Scripture, the living Tradition of the Church and the authentic Magisterium, as well as the spiritual heritage of the Fathers and the Church’s saints, to allow for a better knowledge of the Christian mystery and for enlivening the faith of the People of God.”
